  • Recall appropriate treatment for acute opioid use disorder
  • Discuss treatment options for opioid use disorder
  • Evaluate changing regulations for buprenorphine

Katherine Jamison, PharmD

r. Jamison received her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree at the University of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy—Chapel Hill, NC. She completed her PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at the Salem VA Medical Center where she became the Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Primary Care focusing on outpatient management of hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia and HIV/AIDS. She later became the Infectious Disease Clinical Pharmacy Specialist helping the facility grow the antimicrobial stewardship program. Dr. Jamison has served as a preceptor for both pharmacy students and residents, and is now Associate Dean for Medical Education at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, VA.
