Lifestyle Medicine and Osteopathy


Originally presented at the Wisconsin Association of Osteopathic Physicians & Surgeons (WAOPS) Spring 2025 Conference, this on-demand CME program features Briana Krewson, DO, as she offers expert insights into lifestyle medicine and osteopathy.  WAOPS is proud to make this valuable educational resource available to you.

Learning Objectives:
Following completion of this program, attendees shall be able to:
-Explain the foundations of lifestyle medicine;
-Recognize overlapping principles in osteopathic medicine and lifestyle medicine;
-Integrate lifestyle medicine principles into patient care.
 

Accredation Statement:
The Wisconsin Association of Osteopathic Physicians & Surgeons (WAOPS) is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. The WAOPS designates this program for a maximum of 1 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician's participation in this activity.

Briana Krewson, DO

Briana Krewson, DO, MPH, is a family medicine resident (PGY-II) at the University of Wisconsin Department of Family Medicine and Community Health in Madison, WI. She completed her medical degree at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, PA, and bachelors degree at Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, PA. Prior to medical school, she lived abroad in Poland on a grant provided by the Fulbright Program, and earned her Masters in Public Health degree from Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH. Briana is passionate about humanism in medicine and lifestyle medicine. Outside of work, she enjoys exercising, baking, reading, and spending time with her family and friends, especially her fiancé David and her rescue pup Jake.
