Evaluation of the Patient with Elevated Liver Enzymes
Length: 1 hour


  1. Understand patterns of liver enzyme elevation.
  2. Understand hepatobiliary diseases and resulting patterns of liver enzyme aberrations.
  3. Understand available diagnostics and therapeutics associates with hepatobiliary disease. 

 

 

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the American Osteopathic Association (AOA). The Tennessee Osteopathic Medical Association (TOMA) is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians.

TOMA designates this program for a maximum of one (1) AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity.

Ben Shepard, DO

Dr. Ben Shepard, received his DO at Lincoln Memorial University DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine, did residency and Fellowship at Oklahoma State University Medical Center, and was formerly the Assistant Clinical Professor of Internal Medicine at OSU-CHS. Dr. Shepard is currently General and Interventional Gastroenterologist at Marshall Medical Systems/Medical Specialists of North Alabama.

Dr. Shepard has no actual or potential conflict of interest in relation to this program or presentation.
