Following completion of this program, attendees shall be able to:

1. Understand the key components of hospital disaster planning, including risk assessment, resource allocation, communication strategies, and coordination with community partners, to effectively prepare for and respond to various types of emergencies and disasters.
2. Identify the roles and responsibilities of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, administrators, and support staff, in the implementation of hospital disaster plans, and recognize the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration and training in ensuring a coordinated and efficient response.
3. Discuss best practices and lessons learned from real-world disaster scenarios, including natural disasters, mass casualty incidents, and pandemics, to inform the development and refinement of hospital disaster plans and enhance readiness for future emergencies.
