Killer Headache: Subarachnoid Hemorrhage


First presented at the 2021 Virtual Osteopathic Conference, OPSO is pleased to offer this presentation as an on-demand CME seminar. 

In this presentation Nicole Mullins, DO, will:

Discuss select emergent causes of headache

  • Identify clinical guides for SAH rule out without additional testing
  • Identify the workup algorithm requiring imaging or labs
  • Identify ACEP's Clinical Policy on SAH evaluation

Statement of Accreditation

The Ostoepathic Physicians and Surgeons of Oregon is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. The Osteoathic Physicians and Suregons of Oregon designates this program for a maximum of 1 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity.

Nicole Mullins, DO

Dr. Nicole Mullins is currently the attending physician at Salem Health in Salem, Oregon. She graduated from Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale, Arizona. She is board certified in Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Nicole Mullins is a native-born Oregonian who desiccated in the Sonoran Desert for ten years, whence she returned with imports (her Phoenician husband et al.). In her free time, she enjoys traveling (ah, preCOVID), running, hiking, trying exotic foods, and spending time with her many family members.

Dr. Mullins discloses that she has no relevant financial relationships with any organization producing, marketing, reselling, or distributing health care goods or services consumed by, or used on, patients relative to the content of this presentation.
