Osteopathic Treatment for Chronic Conditions & General Health


Following the completion of this program, 

  1. Learners will review multiple models for applying osteopathic treatment.
  2. Learners will review a logical pattern of treatment that is formulated to reduce sympathetic tone, stimulate the body’s innate ability to rejuvenate and restore itself, remove mechanical restrictions and augment lymphatic flow.
  3. Learners will review anatomy of the intracranial venous sinuses, the transverse diaphragms and the lymphatic system.
  4. Learners will learn specific techniques that can be applied in various combinations including: venous sinus releases, transverse diaphragm releases, sympathetic ganglia release and lymphatic pumping.

 

Angelica Perry, DO

Dr. Perry is a board-certified osteopathic physician specializing in family medicine and neuromusculoskeletal medicine. She earned her medical degree from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine and holds degrees in nutrition from Life University and NYIT. With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Perry blends osteopathic manipulation with conventional and holistic therapies, focusing on the body’s innate healing ability. A former massage therapist, she now leads Full Spectrum Wellness Care in Virginia, offering personalized, integrative care. She is affiliated with several hospitals and is known for her compassionate approach and dedication to whole-person wellness. Disclosures: None
