Michael T. Leake, Jr., JD, is an Oklahoma native who earned his Juris Doctor from the Oklahoma City University School of Law in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. While in school, he served as the law advancement ambassador at OCU’s School of Law as well as a legal intern at Wiggins, Sewell, & Ogletree. The law firm liked Michael so much that after he graduated law school and passed the Bar, they offered him an associate lawyer position. He stayed at Wiggins, Sewell, & Ogletree until he was appointed as the Oklahoma State Board of Osteopathic Examiners new executive director in April of 2020. Michael also serves on the Putnam City Public Schools Foundation Board (his alma mater – Putnam City North) and the Community Literacy Centers Board.

Michael is the loving husband to his wife Sheridan and proud father of his five-month-old son George and three-year-old golden doodle Teddy. He loves OU football, cars, and shooting guns.

Dale Derby, DO, earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Kansas City College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri, in 1975. Following graduation, Dr. Derby served in the US Navy, where he deployed to Guam and later became a general medical officer. Board-certified in anesthesiology, Dr. Derby is a former District 74 (Owasso and Tulsa) House Representative. He is currently the chief anesthesiologist at Bailey Medical Center. He serves on the Oklahoma State Board of Osteopathic Examiners as a Trustee and the Board of Directors for Bailey Medical Center.

Lane Krieger, JD, is a partner and trial lawyer practicing with the law firm of Wiggins Sewell & Ogletree in Oklahoma City.  The son of a long-time physician in Southwest Oklahoma, he has specialized in the defense of healthcare providers in medical negligence lawsuit in both state and federal courts since graduating law school in 2004. With experience in the defense of complex healthcare corporate entities, product liability actions, licensure board action and administrative hearings, and HIPAA and EMTALA matters, Mr. Krieger is currently admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Oklahoma, and the United States 10th Circuit Court of Appeals.  He is an active member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and the Oklahoma Association of Defense Counsel.  He is also a member of the Arkansas bar and California bar.

Chelsey D. Gilbertson, DO, MBA, FACOEP, earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 2008. Following her graduation, she performed her internship and residency at the INTEGRIS Southwest Medical Center in emergency medicine. She stayed with INTEGRIS Southwest and has progressed through the ranks. Dr. Gilbertson holds several appointments and positions within the INTEGRIS and TeamHealth Community. Her most recent positions are the Emergency Medicine Clinical Programs Medical Director, COVID-19 Incident Command, and INTEGRIS Southwest Medical Center Medical Staff President.

Phillip A. Nokes, DO, CAQSM, is a 1978 graduate from the Oklahoma College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa, OK. After a rotating internship at Plantation Memorial Osteopathic Hospital, he returned to Edmond and spent one year with Wayne Roberts, DO, in primary care. He moved his family to Chandler and spent 13 years in general practice, which included family medicine, obstetrics, emergency medicine, OMT, and as the team physician for the Chandler schools. He then moved to Stillwater in 1993 to serve at the Student Health Center and assistant team physician for NCAA sports. He helped develop the manual medicine aspect of the Sports Medicine Fellowship at OSU. In 2004, duty called, and he left to serve on a deployment to Kuwait and Iraq for a year. After returning, he started a career caring for industrial athletes with Premise Health Care across the state. He is currently working as a PRN provider for Premise Health Care in Oklahoma City, Tulsa, and Enid. He and his wife Teresa live in Edmond with their two grandsons.
