Promote OMM in Pregnancy - The Research

Learning Objectives:
1.Applyosteopathic principles to the changes encountered during pregnancy
2.Evaluate the appropriate Indications and Contraindications for OMT interventions during pregnancy
3.Review research pertaining to OMT and pregnancy
4.Review osteopathic practices, including the PROMOTE study protocol, for the pregnant patient
This session is accredited for a maximum of .5 AOA Category 1-A credits. Credits commensurate with participation in the session will be awarded.

Kiran Ananda Mangalam, DO is an Associate Professor at his alma mater, UNECOM. He is board-certified in Family, Integrative, and Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine specialties and practices at Maine Mother + Company in Brunswick, ME. He has been a student/ teacher of yoga and meditation in the Himalayan Tradition for over 20 years.
