Updates in Pulmonary Medicine for the Primary Care Physician

This program will expire and must be completed by 11/19/24.

Physicians and medical professionals will review new guidelines for lung CA screening in addition to new guidelines for initial management of asthma and new guidelines for initial management of COPD.

Learning Objectives:
•    Discuss new guidelines for lung CA screening
•    Review new guidelines for initial management of asthma
•    Summarize new guidelines for initial management of COPD

Accreditation Statement:
The Montana Osteopathic Medical Association is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians and designates this program for a maximum of .75 AOA Category 2-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician's participation in this activity.

Bethany Weiler-Lisowski, MD

Dr. Bethany Weiler is a pulmonologist and critical care physician in Kalispell, MT and is affiliated with Logan Health. 

She received her medical degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, completed her Internal Medicine Residency served as chief resident at University of Maryland/ Shock Trauma, and completed a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care at University of Maryland/ Shock Trauma.

In 2018, Dr. Weiler started her career with Logan Health in the Pulmonary and Critical Care department.  In 2021, Dr. Weiler became the Medical Director of the Intensive Care Unit, the Medical Director of the Respiratory Care Department, and Chairwoman of the Ethics Committee at Logan Health.

Dr. Weiler is a member of the American Thoracic Society, the American College of Chest Physicians and the Society of Critical Care Medicine.
