Grievance Policy
Program grievances will be presented to the Oklahoma Osteopathic Association Board of Trustees and dealt with appropriately. If this action did not resolve the problem to satisfaction, the person with the grievance will be directed to the American Osteopathic Association’s Division of Continuing Medical Education.
 
Accreditation
The OOA is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians.

Laura Jane Holsey, DO

Laura Jane Holsey, DO, is board certified in general surgery and a board eligible cosmetic surgeon. This year Dr. Holsey was awarded Rookie Doctor of the Year for the State of Oklahoma. She enjoys being active in the Osteopathic Association, serving on the Bureau of Legislation and being Doctor of the Day at the Capital. Dr. Holsey enjoys giving back to her college of medicine and mentors incoming students each year. She is a native, raised in Binger, Oklahoma. She later graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a bachelor of science. Following in her father’s footsteps, she went on to attend Oklahoma State College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Holsey studied general surgery at many prestigious hospitals in New York City including St. Michael’s, Memorial Sloan Kettering, South Nassau Hospital, St. John’s Episcopal Hospital and Trinitas Medical Center. She completed a Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship in Indianapolis, Indiana. As well as, she is currently completing her certification in wound care. Many times in Dr. Holsey’s office you will hear her say, “What bothers you the most,” or “What is your definition of pretty.” Being a woman and working mother, she understands the struggles that everyone faces in today’s world trying to fit into society’s definition of pretty. Family has always been very important to Dr. Holsey. She lives with her husband, daughter and son in Yukon, Oklahoma. Every patient that meets her will instantly feel like family.
