Tamelia Lakraj-Edwards, MD is a PGY-2 resident of the Larkin Community Hospital ONMM Residency program. Dr. Edwards obtained her medical degree from Spartan Health Sciences University in St. Lucia and her Masters in Public Health from Florida International University. To attack the current opioid crisis, Dr. Edwards joined a research initiative on the utilization of osteopathic modalities to decrease the use of oral pain medicines in patients with low back pain. Through this endeavor, she found her love of osteopathic medicine and joined her current residency program for further training. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, doing outdoor activities, and traveling to various countries to learn culturally integrative medicinal techniques.
Stefanie Lai, DO is a 2019 graduate of the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PMR) Residency with Sunrise GME PM&R Department in Nevada. Currently, Dr. Lai is a resident physician at Larkin Community Hospital in Osteopathic Neromusculoskeletal Medicine. She has contributed to research on COVID-19 related critical illness neuromyopathy, the rehabilitation challenge and localization of hand and wrist anatomic structures among PM&R residents, and implication of ultrasonography in palpation still verification.
