Following completion of this program, attendees shall be able to:

  1. Recognize the signs and symptoms of stroke, including ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, utilizing appropriate diagnostic tools and clinical assessment techniques to facilitate timely and accurate diagnosis in diverse patient populations.
  2. Evaluate evidence-based treatment options for acute ischemic stroke, including thrombolytic therapy, endovascular interventions, and supportive care measures, to optimize patient outcomes and minimize disability.
  3. Implement comprehensive stroke rehabilitation strategies, including physical, occupational, and speech therapies, along with secondary prevention measures, to facilitate recovery, maximize functional independence, and reduce the risk of recurrent strokes in stroke survivors.
