Program grievances will be presented to the Oklahoma Osteopathic Association Board of Trustees and dealt with appropriately. Ruben Barroso, DO

Dr. Ruben Barroso is originally from Michigan but has called Northeastern Oklahoma home since 2008 where he currently lives in Tulsa with his wife and four kids.  He graduated from the OSU-Center for Health Sciences in 2021 and began residency at the OMECO/Cherokee Nation Family Medicine Residency Program in Tahlequah, OK, where he currently serves as Chief Resident.  He has spoken about Alpha-Gal Syndrome previously for a regional Best Practices presentation for the providers within the Cherokee Nation health system and is currently collaborating with other physicians on case reports to contribute to the budding collection of literature.
