The Skinny on Weight Management: An Osteopathic Approach to the Obesity Epidemic


Learning Objectives:

  • Review current obesity epidemiology and the history of weight management; evaluate how this was changed by COVID-19.
  • Examine current guidelines to treat obesity, nutrition, activity, behavior, medication and surgery.
  • Review current medications available for weight management.
  • Review algorithm to approach bariatric surgery.
