Osteopathic Cranial Manipulation - Neuroscience Correlation


Osteopathic Cranial Manipulation – Neuroscience Correlation. Was first presented at the Kansas Association of Osteopathic Medicine Annual Conference 2023. This program now made available on-demand, follows Eustaquio II Abay, MD as he discusses (OCMM), Osteopathic Cranial Manipulation, it’s concepts and neuroscientific mechanisms.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Discuss the Neuroscience Concepts involved in Osteopathic Cranial Manipulation (OCMM).
  2. Discuss the Neuroscientific mechanisms by which different indications for OCMM are resolved.
  3. List potential future studies that might further establish Neuroscience Concepts involved in OCMM.
  4. Be better motivated to use and implement OCMM in their respective practices.

Eustaquio Abay, II, MD, Professor of Neurosurgery, Kansas Health Sciences Center Medical School

Eustaquio O. Abay II, MD., FACS, received his medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas in 1973. He later continued at the University of Minnesota Mayo Graduate School of Medicine where he received a Masters in Neurosurgery. Abay has had numerous publications in his over 40 year career and continues to present lectures while being considered one of the top Neurosurgeons in the Wichita area.
