Adverse Childhood Experiences: Translation to Policy & Practice

Adverse Childhood Experiences: Translation to Policy and Practice- Michael Lawler, PhD

Since Felliti et al.’s (1998) landmark study of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), scientists and practitioners have been forming policy and practice frameworks based on these findings to help address health concerns related to childhood trauma. This presentation will explore new developments related to ACEs from public health, psychology, and medicine that can benefit the health and mental health of children, adolescents, and adults.
