Pediatric Radiology Cases

First presented at the FOMA 2023 virtual convention. FOMA is proud to offer this on-demand CME program as Rachel Pevsner Crum, DO explores the components of the pediatric CXR study, the approach to reading a pediatric CXR.

What you will learn:

  1. Identify the radiographic features of esophageal atresia, tracheoesophageal fistula, duodenal atresia, meconium plug syndrome, and necrotizing enterocolitis.
  2. Identify the radiographic features of esophageal foreign bodies, esophageal stricture, and hypertonic pyloric stenosis.

Rachel Pevsner Crum, DO

Rachel Pevsner Crum, DO is a 2005 graduate of Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine. After her radiology residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, she completed her Pediatric Radiology Fellowship at Nicholas Children’s Hospital in Miami, FL (formerly Miami Children’s). She stayed on as an attending pediatric radiologist and became specialized in pediatric interventional and musculoskeletal radiology and eventually became the Chief of Ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine sections.  Most recently Dr. Pevsner relocated to Children’s Hospital of the Kings Daughters in Norfolk, Va. She is an ABR certified Diagnostic Radiologist as well as an ABR certified Subspecialty Pediatric Radiologist.
