Sleep Medicine Update 2021

This presentation will educate physicians and medical professionals on current home sleep testing indications and technology. Attendees will be able to discuss Hypoglossal Nerve Stimulator for Obstructive Sleep Apnea: how it works, who it's for, and Logan Health's workflow for evaluation, implant, and management. They will have the skills to be able to summarize Nocturnal Oxygen Therapy and review the literature.

•    Summarize Nocturnal Oxygen Therapy: a review of the literature

Accreditation Statement:
The Montana Osteopathic Medical Association is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians and designates this program for a maximum of .75 AOA Category 2-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician's participation in this activity.

Deborah Hoffman, MD

Dr. Hoffman graduated from the University of Miami in 1994 and completed her Internal Medicine Residency and Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship at the University of California- San Diego.  She currently practices at Logan Health Sleep Medicine Department in Kalispell, Montana. She is certified by the ABIM in Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine and Sleep Medicine.

Dedicated to pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine for over 20 years, she is highly motivated to promote healthy lifestyle and prevent medical consequences associated with many of the conditions that afflict Americans today. The three cornerstones to optimize health are good nutrition, regular exercise and restorative sleep, Dr. Hoffman is strongly dedicated to creating a comprehensive Sleep Clinic which will screen, educate, test, manage and track sleep patients.
