Every Body, Every Mind, Every Spirit: Increasing Health Equity for Survivors of Domestic Abuse and Violence


Objectives– Following this lecture participants will be able to:

  1. Recall the definition, root cause and the prevalence of domestic violence
  2. Understand how social determinants of health, racism and other systems of oppression impact a survivor’s access to and quality of healthcare
  3. Understand the CUES approach to supporting survivors in a clinical setting and employ the resources available to domestic violence survivors in Maine

This session is accredited for a maximum of  1.0 AOA Category 1-A credits. Credits commensurate with participation in the session will be awarded.
