Osteopathic Practice Internationally


Objectives: At the end of this presentation, attendees will be able to

  1. Articulate the major milestones and current AOA activity related to advancing DO practice rights abroad.
  2. Summarize the history of the AOA's relationship with the Osteopathic International Alliance, the World Health Organization and the International Association of Medical Regulatory Authorities.
  3. Identify the purpose of one of the OIA-WHO collaborative projects and explain its significance to the osteopathic medical profession.

This session is accredited for a maximum  1.0 AOA Category 1-A credits. Credits commensurate with participation in the session will be awarded.
