Now Urine the Know: Misconceptions and Management of Bacteriuria, UTI, and Recurrent UTI


Objectives: At the end of this presentation, attendees will be able to:

  1. Evaluate a postoperative patient for catheter-associated UTI, and diagnose & treat recurrent cystitis.
  2. Manage asymptomatic bacteriuria in an immunosuppressed patient.
  3. Prevent catheter- associated UTI and treat cystitis during pregnancy

This session is accredited for a maximum 1.0 AOA Category 1-A credits. Credits commensurate with participation in the session will be awarded.
