AI in Medicine: 101 Overview, Clinical Use Cases, Ethical/Legal Considerations & Expert Panel Discussion

Objectives– Following this lecture participants will be able to:

1. Provide a broad overview of current uses of AI in medicine.
2. Describe how Artificial Intelligence works, specifically Generative AI.
3. Describe Generative AI safety in the use of healthcare delivery.
4. Describe some ways how AI can help with Clinical Decision Support
5. Understand the potential legal implications of utilizing AI in the practice of medicine.
6. Evaluate the ethical considerations that must be considered in the implementation of this technology in medicine

This session is accredited for a maximum of 1.75 AOA Category 1-A credits. Credits commensurate with participation in the session will be awarded.
