Ageism in Leadership (Keynote)
Learning Objectives:
- Define ageism: Define ageism as a form of discrimination and explore its various forms, including stereotypes, prejudice, and discriminatory practices based on age.
- Identify ageist stereotypes: Identify common ageist stereotypes and biases that impact individuals in leadership positions, both older and younger workers.
- Analyze the impact of ageism: Analyze the impact of ageism on individuals, organizations, and the broader society, including its effects on leadership development, team dynamics, and overall performance.
- Discuss strategies to address ageism: Discuss practical strategies and approaches for leaders to identify and address ageism in their own spheres of influence.
