Learning Objectives:
Recognize EKG abnormalities associated with common cardiotoxic poisonings.
Describe the mechanisms by which toxicologic agents affect cardiac conduction and repolarization.
Identify EKG findings that predict severe toxicity or impending clinical deterioration.
Use EKG findings to guide acute management and disposition decisions in poisoned patients.
