Didactic lecture about how Ketogenic diets can help patients improve their health.  

Learning Objectives:
• Review obesity & primary mechanism of insulin resistance.
• Look at the hormonal relationship between diabetes, obesity, and vascular disease.
• Understand the definition of and reason for using a ketogenic diet.
• Review our current understanding of the fat metabolism in the treatment of disease.
• Clinical application of ketogenic lifestyles.
