Osteopathic Approach to the Older Adult: Lecture & Demo


Learning Objectives:

  1. Following this lecture, participants will be able to state the common effects of aging on the organ system.
  2. In this presentation, participants will review the Osteopathic 5 Model concept and apply this to our aging population 
  3. During this presentation, the participants will review evidenced based practices that have been shown to be effective in treating our older patient in the clinic and hospital settings.
     

The Maine Osteopathic Association is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians.The Maine Osteopathic Association designates this program for a maximum of 1.5 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity.
