Social Media Pearls & Pitfalls for the Physician


Learning Objectives-- Pitfalls of Social Media:

  1. Understand the background of the First Amendment as it may apply to social media in your professional capacity.
  2. Understand the concerns and limitations on social media use that may be imposed by licensing boards.
  3. Consider relationship between social media use and your professional profile and obligations.

  2. Following this lecture, participants will gain ideas for how to grow an audience on social media.
  3. Following this lecture, participants will learn tips on how to manage their professional presence on social media.
