Learning Objectives

1) Acquire knowledge on the history of diabetes co-morbidity outcomes.

2) Identify, diagnose and develop a treatment plan for the diseases discussed.  

3) Identify the latest indications for diabetes medications

4) Describe current management practices for Type 2 diabetes.

5) Recognize the possibilities on prevention of Type 1 diabetes.

 

The Virginia Osteopathic Medical Association (VOMA) is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. VOMA designates this program for a maximum of 1 AOA Category 1A CME credits and will report CME credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation.
