Breastfeeding 101: challenges and solutions


Objectives: Following this lecture, participants will be able to:

  1. Describe 3 breastfeeding-related conversations that should take place prenatally

  2. Identify 3 infant feeding resources available to providers and new parents

  3. Demonstrate the most effective strategies of supporting a lactating parent

  4. Assess and manage common 3 breastfeeding challenges

 

The Maine Osteopathic Association is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians.The Maine Osteopathic Association designates this program for a maximum of 1.0 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity.
