OMM Workshop: Visceral Manipulation Fundamentals


Learning Objectives:

1. Explain the rationale for using visceral techniques

2. Define visceral somatic dysfunction

3. Explain the goals of performing visceral techniques

4. Identify the indications, contraindications, and precautions for performing visceral techniques

5. Compare and contrast the various methods of visceral techniques

6. Visualize, verbalize, and identify the preparation, positioning, tissue contact, movements, barriers and forces for diagnosing somatic dysfunction and performing visceral techniques

7. Recall the physiologic effect of performing visceral techniques
