Joy W Newby, LPN, CPC Related Seminars and Products


Ms. Newby, President of Newby Consulting, Inc., is a noted medical consultant and dynamic lecturer. She is a licensed practical nurse with over 17 years hands-on experience in medical office management. She also is a certified professional coder with over 30 years of experience in medical practice consulting for a total of over 47 years working with physician practices. She serves on numerous committees including the Wisconsin Physician Services' Medicare Provider Outreach and Education Advisory Group (POE-AG) and the National Government Services Medicare POE-AG. Presently, Ms. Newby serves as the Health Plan Relations consultant to the Indiana Academy of Family Physicians, Indiana Osteopathic Association, Illinois Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, Iowa Academy of Ophthalmology, Kansas Society of Eye Physicians & Surgeons, Wisconsin Academy of Ophthalmology and the Ohio Ophthalmological Society. Her passion in dealing with reimbursement issues not only makes her lively presentations informative, but also helps the participants in her seminars become more proactive rather than reactive. 

Ms. Newby  discloses that she has no relevant financial relationships with any organization producing, marketing, reselling or distributing health care goods or services consumed by, or used on, patients relative to the content of this presentation.
