Description

Objectives:

  1. Discuss new information on the pathophysiology of common dermatologic diseases
  2. Outline management plans for specific cases of dermatologic diseases
  3. Explain in therapy based on clinical response, potential side effects, and appropriate monitoring of specific therapies.
Statement of Accreditation
The Texas Osteopathic Medical Association (TOMA) is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. TOMA designates this program for a maximum of 1.0 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity.

Rick Lin Related Seminars and Products


Dr. Rick Lin is a board certified dermatologist practicing in McAllen, Texas since 2006.  Dr. Lin earned his Bachelor degree in Biology at the University of California at Berkeley and received his medical degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth in 2001.He also graduated with a Master’s in Public Health at the School of Public Health at the UNTHSC.  He then completed a traditional rotating internship at Dallas Southwest Medical Center in 2002.

In 2005 Dr. Lin completed his Dermatology residency training at the Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Missouri in conjunction with the Dermatology Institute of North Texas.Dr. Lin is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Dermatology in the primary specialty of dermatology.  He also holds certification of added qualifications for Mohs Micrographic Surgery. In addition, he is also a board certified sub-specialist in Pediatric Dermatology.

Dr. Lin discloses that he has no relevant financial relationships with any organization producing, marketing, reselling, or distributing health care goods or services consumed by, or used on, patients relative to the content of this presentation.
