Brian J Murphy, CPHRM, CPHRM Related Seminars and Products


Mr. Murphy has been employed by ISMIE since 2000, serving currently as the national risk management & patient safety advisor.  He consults on risk management issues with physicians, their employee staffs, practice managers, lawyers and brokers, and serves as a liaison to the ISMIE sales and marketing team.  Mr. Murphy has facilitated and presented many programs devoted to risk management issues and is a certified presenter for the Institute for Healthcare Communication.  He is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management and completed the Enterprise Risk Management Certificate Program through the American Society for Health Care Risk Management.  Mr. Murphy has an extensive background in regulatory compliance and fire safety, and works as a lieutenant paramedic/firefighter for the Westmont Fire Department.  He is a member of the American Society for Health Care Risk Management (ASHRM), the Chicagoland Healthcare Risk Management Society (CHRMS) and the Illinois Society of Healthcare Risk Management (ISHRM).
