Dr. Smith is an Indianapolis native, and practices allergy and clinical immunology in central Indiana. He attended medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine-Bradenton (LECOM-Bradenton) in Bradenton, FL, and completed his internal medicine residency at Ascension St Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. He completed his allergy fellowship at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, MI, before returning home to Indianapolis and joining Central Indiana Allergy (now Allergy Partners). He is a Fellow of the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology and the American Academy of Asthma, Allergy, and Immunology. He is past president of the Indiana Allergy Society, and sits on the Allergic Skin Conditions Committee of the American Academy of Allergy Asthma and Immunology. His clinical interests include asthma, contact dermatitis, chronic urticaria, humoral immune deficiencies, and environmental allergies. Aside from his work in allergy, he participates in clinical trials for investigational medications. In his free time he enjoys traveling, fishing, and spending time with his wife and three children.
