Description

Learning Objectives:

  • Distinguish between the signs, symptoms and complications of Ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s Disease
  • Accurately assess the severity and disease activity of Ulcerative Colitis (UC) and Crohn’s disease (CD). 
  • Justify the use of drug therapies for UC and CD on the basis of risk benefit.
  • Develop a monitoring plan to evaluate both the efficacy and the toxicity of drug therapies need in inflammatory Bowel Disease.
