Learning Objectives:

    1. Recognize the shortcomings of the conventional energy balance hypothesis

    2. Describe the hormonal / regulatory processes that better explain adiposity and metabolic syndrome

    3. Implement current scientific data into counseling and management of obesity and metabolic disease

Dr. Younglove received her MD degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. She is a board-certified diplomate in Obesity Medicine and a fellow with board certification in obstetrics and gynecology. Her professional experience includes serving as medical director/physician for Heartland Weight Loss in Lenexa and as a physician/shareholder in The Women’s HealthCare Group in Overland Park. Dr. Younglove is dedicated to women’s health issues and wellness and prevention.
