Description

Objectives:

  1. Review common rheumatologic test characteristics and diagnostic utility
  2. Review indications for ordering specific tests
  3. Discuss indications for referral to a rheumatologist

Statement of Accreditation
The Texas Osteopathic Medical Association (TOMA) is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. TOMA designates is program for a maximum of 1 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity.

Erica Hill Related Seminars and Products


Lieutenant Colonel Erica Hill graduated from the US Air Force Academy in 2002 and served as a personnel officer for two years.  She graduated from the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2008 and completed internal medicine residency at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio in 2011.Dr Hill completed rheumatology fellowship in 2013 at San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC), Texas and received the American College of Rheumatology Distinguished Fellow Award.  She has served at SAMMC since 2013.  She deployed to Iraq (2004) and Afghanistan (2015).  Dr. Hill is board certified in Internal Medicine, Rheumatology, and Musculoskeletal Ultrasound.  She is currently the Program Director for the SAMMC rheumatology fellowship.  

Dr. Hill discloses that she has no relevant financial relationships with any organization producing, marketing, reselling, or distributing health care goods or services consumed by, or used on, patients relative to the content of this presentation.
