Description

After this presenation, participants will be able to: 
1. Confront the diagnostic challenge that is Aortic Dissection.
2. Identify key historical points that should raise your suspicion for dissection.
3. Discuss essential exam components in your patients with probable dissection.
4. Examine important risk factors to ask these patients.
 
Grievance Policy
Program grievances will be presented to the Oklahoma Osteopathic Association Board of Trustees and dealt with appropriately. If this action did not resolve the problem to satisfaction, the person with the grievance will be directed to the American Osteopathic Association’s Division of Continuing Medical Education.
 
Accreditation
The OOA is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians.

Angela I. Carrick, DO, FACOEP Related Seminars and Products


Angela I. Carrick, DO, FACOEP is a board certified emergency physician. She graduated from the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Kansas City, Missouri in 2005. She completed her emergency medicine residency at Integris Southwest Medical Center in 2009 and has been an attending physician for the Norman Regional Health System since. She and her husband Robert, a Norman fire fighter, have one child and enjoy spending time together as a family. She also enjoys vegetarian cooking, traveling and shopping. Professionally, she is a test writer for the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners, and she is a member of the ACOEP Bylaws committee.
