Gap Analysis: The practice of medicine has undergone many rapid changes in the last year. The fragility and vulnerability of the human situation, the global economy, and the limits of medical care are all frequently brought to mind. New challenges have presented themselves with a frequency not previously encountered by most practicing physicians. As Osteopathic Physicians, we remain resolute in our unique approach in addressing the needs of the whole person while remaining at the forefront of the practice and art of medicine during these rapidly changing times.
Program Objectives: The 121st Annual Convention of the Oklahoma Osteopathic Association is intended to address the rapidly changing landscape of medicine in the light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Relevant and current topics in medicine will be reviewed, discussed, and updated confirming Osteopathic Medicine's place in modern medicine.
Grievance Policy: Program grievances will be presented to the Oklahoma Osteopathic Association Board of Trustees and dealt with appropriately. If this action did not resolve the problem to satisfaction, the person with the grievance will be directed to the American Osteopathic Association’s Division of Continuing Medical Education.
Accreditation: The OOA is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians.

Lora C. Cotton, DO, is board-certified in Family Practice and Manipulative Medicine. She is a 2001 graduate of Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her Family Medicine Residency at Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences (OSU-CHS) in 2004. In 2006, she joined the fulltime faculty of OSU-CHS. As a Professor of Family Medicine, she serves in leadership positions at both OSU Center for Health Sciences and OSU Medical Center. She served as Program Director of the OUS-CHS Family Medicine Residency for 9 years. She currently serves as Chair of the OSU-CHS Family Medicine Department since 2018. Dr. Cotton teaches and precepts learners across the entire spectrum of medical education including first and second year medical students in the classroom, third and fourth year students on clinical rotation, residents in graduate medical education settings, and advanced learners in faculty development and continuing medical education settings. Her scholarly activity work includes publications, poster presentations and CME presentations spanning a broad range of primary care topics. In addition to teaching, Dr. Cotton maintains an active medical practice in the clinic and hospital settings. Dr. Cotton’s grew up in McAlester, Oklahoma. She currently resides in Tulsa, Oklahoma with her husband, Kenneth Graham, D.O. and two Australian Shepherds, Willie and Patsy. Her personal interests include reading, and cooking from scratch things that could be easily bought, just to see if she can.

Douglas C. Nolan, DO, FACOFP, is a 2000 graduate of the Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a Family Practice Residency at Oklahoma State University in 2003. He served as the Cherokee Nation WW Hastings Hospital Medical Director from 2009 – 2016. He received the IHS National Director’s Award in 2009 and the Thompson Award for Advancement of Healthcare in 2018. He currently serves as the Medical Director of the Cherokee Nation Diabetes Program. In addition, he serves as the Assistant to the Dean of Rural/Tribal Health for Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and the Program Director for the Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences Cherokee Nation Family Medicine Residency.

Kelly Dunn, MD, currently serves as Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at OSU Center for Health Sciences. She is board certified in Psychiatry and Addiction medicine. She received her medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and completed her Psychiatry Residency at OU-Tulsa. She also serves at the Executive Director of Clinical Services for the National Center for Wellness and Recovery where she leads the way in seeing lives transformed with holistic, evidence-based addiction treatment. She is also passionate about Physician and Trainee Well-being, working to help teach and care for Residents and Students at OSUCHS so they can have fulfilling, resilient lifelong careers.

Matthew B. Fowler, DO, is an Oklahoma native who has been affiliated with Oklahoma State University since earning his undergraduate degree in Physiology. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree in 2011 from the Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa, OK. He then continued his education and OSU journey through a family medicine residency. Board-certified in family medicine, Dr. Fowler is a clinical assistant professor of the family medicine residency at OSU-CHS and OMECO. When Dr. Fowler isn’t saving lives and molding the minds of future physicians, he enjoys aerial silks and straps, acroyoga – he has performed several times with his wife. Dr. Fowler is also a Tulsa Kids Magazine 2020 finalist for Favorite Family Doctor.

Glennda D. Tiller, DO, MEd, is from Oklahoma City, OK. She was born and raised there graduating from Putnam City North High School. She then attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and a Master of Education in Health Science and Microbiology. She then went on achieve her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating in 2017. While at OSU-COM she was an OMM teaching assistant, Stress management leader, President of the ACOP student club and secretary of the AMWA student club. After graduation she began her Family Medicine Residency at OSU in the OMECO program which she completed in June of 2020. In residency, she was involved in the ACOFP Task Force on Teen Sexual Health, was a resident member of the OMECO resident council, went on to be the resident chair of the council and was one of the resident representatives for the OSU/OMECO GMEC. During her PGY-3 year, she was chief resident of the OMECO program with the primary responsibility for planning and coordinating the OSU and OMECO Family Medicine academic programming for the 2019-2020 academic year. She then went on to join the faculty of the OSU Family Medicine program as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine in July 2020. She is married to her wonderful wife, Autumn, and together they have one 3-year-old son Dev. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, grilling and reading historical fiction.

Kelly Murray, PharmD, BCACP, received her Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy in 2007. Her passion for ambulatory care pharmacy and medical education led her to OSU Center for Health Sciences, where she is currently a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine. She is also the Emergency Department Clinical Pharmacist at OSU Medical Center, helping with drug therapy recommendations for patients with a wide range of acuity levels. She is the pharmacist hub team member of OSU’s Mental Health, Pediatric Obesity, and Pediatric Emotional and Behavioral Health ECHO lines. She is also the Emergency Medicine residents’ Research Director and received her board certification in ambulatory care pharmacy in 2011.

Sarah Martin Hall, DO, is an Oklahoma native who earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa, OK, in 2005. After graduation, she performed her family medicine internship and residency at the OSU Medical Center. While in medical school, she was a team facilitator for the OB/GYN department, a research technician for the microbiology department, a histology tutor for the anatomy and cell biology department, and a microbiology tutor in the microbiology department. Board-certified in family medicine, Dr. Hall is a joint-appointed professor for the department of family medicine and medical education. She is also the program director of the OMECO THC family medicine residency. In 2019, Dr. Hall decided to perform a primary care training enhancement fellowship in efforts to lead health care transformation and enhance teaching in a community-based setting.

Frank Goodman, DO, MS, PGY3, graduated from William Carey University of College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2018. Prior to osteopathic medical school he graduated from University of North Texas Health Science Center with a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Research Management. Dr. Goodman is completing residency training in Osteopathic Family Medicine at OSU Medical Center in Tulsa in June of 2021 and will matriculate into Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine Residency at OSU Medical Center. Dr. Goodman plans on pursuing Obstetric/Maternity-Care Fellowship in Family Medicine following graduation from ONMM. Dr. Goodman was Chair of the Resident American Academy of Osteopathy Executive Council from 2020- 2021, along with Chairing the AAO Annual Convocation Resident Lecture Track Series Program. Dr. Goodman has presented nationally on Alzheimer’s Disease and is continual advocate of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine in his patients.

Regina Lewis, DO, earned her medical degree at Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine now named OSU Center for Health Sciences in 2002. Dr. Lewis completed her residency in Family Medicine at OSU Center for Health Sciences in Tulsa, OK in 2005 and from 2005-2006, Dr. Lewis completed a fellowship in high-risk obstetrics at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Austin, Texas. Dr. Lewis is an established physician with over 13 years of experience in Family Medicine/Obstetrics with special interest in Women’s Health. Currently, she is a Professor of Family Medicine and the Director of the OSU Family Medicine Women’s Health Center. Prior to returning to OSU CHS, Dr. Lewis practiced at the University of Oklahoma in the Family Medicine Department and one of 5 faculty overseeing the University of Oklahoma OB fellowship program. She is committed to serving the community across a wide spectrum of society. Her practice is devoted to working with families and assisting patients in medical care from preventive to before the miracle of birth to achieving a lifetime of health. The local community has greatly benefited from Dr. Lewis’s commitment to give back as she has served on numerous committees and she regularly lectures at engagements throughout the area including numerous non-profit entities. Currently, Dr. Lewis sits on the board of the Tulsa Health Department. Internationally, Dr. Lewis has taken part in Humanitarian medical missions in Greece, Malawi, Guatemala, Uganda, Nicaragua, and Bolivia where she met the myriad of needs of those less fortunate. Personally, Dr. Lewis is married and the proud mother of two daughters and a dog named Storm. She is a member of the Alpha Chi Omega Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Local Chapter. She enjoys traveling, cooking, and working out.
