Benjamin Lippmann, DO
Benjamin Lippman, DO is a well-regarded psychiatrist rooted in Florida. Raised and educated in the Sunshine State, Dr. Lippmann has dedicated his career to addressing the mental health needs of his local community. Completing his medical degree at Nova Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale in 2012, Dr. Lippmann furthered his training at Larkin Community Hospital in South Miami. There, he was honored as Chief Psychiatric Resident in his final year, demonstrating his commitment and proficiency in psychiatry. He moonlighted simultaneously in Broward Partnership for the homeless and a residential substance use disorder treatment facility. He earned his board certification from the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry in 2016.
Post-residency, Dr. Lippmann expanded his expertise by working in various hospitals and among Kansas, Oregon, New Mexico, and Maryland. These diverse experiences have enriched his knowledge of numerous psychiatric conditions, providing him with a broad skill set.
In 2016, Dr. Lippmann decided to return to Florida and in 2021, he established his private practice in Lakeland. His osteopathic care philosophy is intertwined with principles of positive psychiatry, emphasizing a compassionate, patient-centered approach. Dr. Lippmann firmly believes that no psychiatric condition should be outside of his scope and is committed to offering comprehensive, empathetic support to all his patients.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Lippmann enjoys exploring Central Florida with his wife and their three young sons. His personal connection to the community further drives his dedication to enhancing mental health care in the region.
