Jeffrey Halsell, DO
Jeffrey Halsell, DO grew up in Oklahoma. He spent over 17 years in the military, immediately following high school. He was able to achieve his college, medical school, and post-graduate education while either on active duty or in the military reserves. He completed medical school at Oklahoma State University, College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tulsa, OK. He received his residency training in Internal Medicine at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine – Tulsa. He then completed his second residency training in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA. He is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (also previously board certified in Internal Medicine). Dr. Halsell limits his outpatient private practice to the diagnosis & treatment of neuropathies and its complications. He lives full-time in Captiva, Florida with his wife Kristin. He has been married for over 31 years and has two adult sons - Cole (age 29) and Jonah (age 25). He enjoys tennis, fishing, wildlife photography and hanging out with his family.
