First presented at the 2021 Virtual Osteopathic Conference, OPSO is pleased to offer this presentation as an on-demand CME seminar. 

In this presentation Dr. Rose's objectives are to:

§Better evaluate and examine patients with abdominal pain
§Discuss imaging options with patients and collegues
§Introduce how to evaluate for diagnoses with bedside ultrasound imaging
 

The Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons of Oregon is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians and designates this program for a maximum of 1.0 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician's participation in this activity.

Ryan Rose, DO Related Seminars and Products


Dr. Ryan Rose is currently an Emergency Medicine Physician at Salem Health Hospital in Salem, Oregon. His wife also works alongside him at Salem Health as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner.  He is board certified in Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Rose completed his residency at Baystate Medical Center, Springfield, Massachusetts. After residency, he practiced in a busy trauma center just outside of Charlotte, North Carolina.  

While growing up in Tennessee, he found an avid passion for the outdoors and has incorporated that passion into his practice by taking Advanced Wilderness Life Support courses. He continues to teach wilderness medicine classes and skills.

Dr. Rose also started a MedWAR race at his medical school which is held every November. When not working, Dr. Rose and his lovely wife can be found mountain biking, hiking, and hanging out with their awesome dogs. He also enjoys snowboarding, skiing, camping, rock climbing, mountain biking, and most anything outside.

Dr. Rose discloses that he has no relevant financial relationships with any organization producing, marketing, reselling, or distributing health care goods or services consumed by, or used on, patients relative to the content of this presentation.
