Pain management is one the most common reasons for office visits. Osteopathic physicians are uniquely trained to assist patients in the non-pharmacologic management of common painful injuries and mechanical dysfunctions. This goal of this workshop is to educate attendees about the modality of pain management called Dry Needling which is often not taught in osteopathic medical school or residency.
Physicians and medical professionals will review the ACGME-AOA single accreditation process and osteopathic recognition pathway. They will explore the use of Osteopathic principles including the use of the procedure of OMT in clinical practice. They will learn the history of osteopathic medicine in Montana.
