Learning Objectives:

Dr. Crandall is currently employed by the Charleston Area Medical Center, serving as the 2024 Chief of Neurosciences and working as an attending neurologist in General and Vascular Neurology. She serves as the Director of the Neurology Residency Program, Director of the Neurology Clerkship and Director of APP Neurology Training and functions as the Neurology Educational Liaison for the Internal Medicine and Behavioral Medicine residencies. She was previously with the St. Luke’s Marion Bloch Neuroscience Institute, St. Luke’s Neurological Consultants as General Neurology/Vascular Neurology Neurological Consultant, St. Luke’s Hospital System and served as the Neurology Clerkship Director. She is a clinical assistant professor in neurology at West Virginia University, working with students from Charleston Division of WCVU as well as students from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. She finished an EMBA from Henry Bloch School of Management, Kansas City, Missouri in 2020, and is currently enrolled in the Johns Hopkins University, School of Education MEHP Fellow Program. Dr. Crandall is board certified in Neurology by the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry. She completed neurology residency at St. John Oakland Hospital where she served as chief resident in her senior year. She graduated from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in 2005 and pursued a traditional rotating internship at Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital, graduating in 2006. She served as an examiner for the AOBNP from 2014-2019. She has lectured for numerous local and national organizations on a variety of stroke topics including the Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons.
