Christine Saraceni, DO, MS attended medical school at Midwestern University, Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. She graduated in the class of 2009. She also obtained a Masters degree in microbiology at Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and graduated in 2004.She completed her osteopathic internship at Northside Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida and did her internal medicine residency and hematology oncology fellowship training at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, PA where she served as the chief hematology oncology fellow. She is board-certified in internal medicine, hematology, and medical oncology.
She joined Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers in August 2016 where she subspecializes in breast cancer. She values medical education and continues to mentor medical students and residents in her clinic. She has a special interest in women's health and preventative medicine. She is research oriented and has published multiple articles in peer- reviewed journals and has presented at national and regional professional meetings. She is married and enjoys spending her free time doing competitive cycling and snowboarding. She has also been a captain of women’s cycling racing teams. She is dedicated to improving health and to supporting each of her patients journey with cancer with a personalized, patient- focused approach. She is a co-investigator on breast cancer clinical trials. She also strives to bring the latest advancements in delivery of cancer care and therapeutics to each of her patients.
