The Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons (MAOPS) is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. MAOPS designates this program for a maximum of 1 AOA Category 2-A Credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician's participation.

Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons (MAOPS) designates this enduring activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Creditsä.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons (MAOPS) and Kansas City University College of Osteopathic Medicine. MAOPS is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

James (Jim) Wieberg established and manages the Center for Mental Wellness at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson, Missouri for the last 30 years.  He has a post graduate degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of MO (1985) and a post graduate degree in Theology.  He is a licensed professional counselor in the State of Missouri. In 1987 he founded a Physician Health Program under the sponsorship of the Missouri Osteopathic Association.   He is a member of the Board of the Federation of Physician Health Programs and on its Executive Council. He has spent most of his career addressing the needs of distressed patients and practitioners.
