Dr. Sonia Hasbun completed her double bachelor’s degrees in General Science and Spanish from Portland State University in Portland, Oregon. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathy at the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona, in 2015. She then moved to northern Arizona to complete her Internal Medicine residency at Verde Valley Medical Center in 2018, where she also served as Chief Resident. After completing her residency, she moved back to her native Oregon, where she completed a General Cardiology fellowship at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis, Oregon. She had the privilege to serve as Chief Fellow. In August 2020, she joined the St. Alphonsus Heart Institute and Women’s Heart Care Program in Boise, Idaho as an Invasive Cardiologist. She is board certified in Internal Medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine.
She is passionate about speaking Spanish with her patients and addressing health care disparities across cultural and gender barriers one patient at a time.
