Dr. Abreu is a Hospice and Palliative Medicine physician at Hospice of the Valley in Phoenix, Arizona. He is passionate about education in hospice and palliative care and is co-author of the book, Death and Dying, published by The MIT Press, 2021. He also serves as Director of Medical Education developing and overseeing the hospice rotations and electives of medical students, residents, and fellows.
