Dr. Cox received his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania and completed his internal medicine residency at New York Hospital Queens in Flushing, New York. Dr. Cox currently works as a Hospitalist at Lewis Gale Montgomery in Blacksburg, Virginia, in addition to his role as the Program Director for the Lewis Gale Internal Medicine Residency Program. The Virginia Osteopathic Medical Association (VOMA) is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. VOMA designates this program for a maximum of 1 AOA Category 1A CME credits and will report CME credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation.
