Dr. Carr graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and residencies at Metropolitan Hospital and Albert Einstein Medical Center, both in Philadelphia. The majority of his practice as a Cardiologist and General Internist was in the US Air Force Medical Service where he served as a practicing physician, Chief of the Medical Staff, Department Chair and Chief Consultant to the USAF Surgeon General for Internal Medicine Services, Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences School of Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and American College of Cardiology. He currently is the principal at Carr Medical Consulting, LLC specializing in writing appeals and testifying at administrative law judge hearings. Dr. Carr and his wife Rose Mary just recently relocated to Virginia Beach to be closer to his grandchildren. Disclosures: None
The Virginia Osteopathic Medical Association (VOMA) is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. VOMA designates this program for a maximum of .75 AOA Category 1A CME credits and will report CME credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation.
